User Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Raiverb ("Service"). By using this Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this User Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must be of legal age or have the necessary consent to be able to agree to use the Service.

3. Prohibited Activities

You agree that you will not use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or disruptive purposes, including but not limited to:

• Any form of violent, threatening, or abusive behavior.

• Any sexually explicit, obscene, or adult content.

• Any illegal or fraudulent activities.

• Attempting to disrupt the Service's functionality or interfere with the experience of other users.

• Using the Service for purposes other than its intended use as duly described (translation, proofreading, and related usages as stated in context).

4. Data Collection and Privacy

By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which is detailed here:

• The personal information we collect are strictly for the purpose of maintaining your account security. We will not transfer, sell or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for commercial purposes.

• The personal information we collect include: any information that is asked to you in a direct manner through registration and other interfaces: e-mail, name, company, country, etc. Also informations tied to your computer that may help secure and confirm your identity, such as, IP address, MAC address, and other such information.
  

• The result from usage of the service, including the requests and results, notably from translations, may be stored on Bouncerock servers for purposes of analysis, improvement in the service, or customer service requests, unless otherwise agreed, or unless you are using a special policy server. This data is sufficiently secured and will not be shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
• Depending on your usage, we may process your requests using third parties. In any case, at no point do we share your personal data or anything not strictly related to processing your particular request with those third parties.
• If you are using a version of Raiverb that allows using custom endpoints with custom prompting, your data will not transition through Bouncerock servers. We are, therefore, not responsible for any output resulting from such usage or your endpoint service, and will not accept any request unrelated to the Software itself.
  

5. Consequences of Violation

Failure to abide by the terms and conditions of this User Agreement may result in immediate termination of your account without compensation. We reserve the right to take legal action if necessary.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is," without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Service.

8. Changes to the User Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this User Agreement at any time, and it is your responsibility to review it periodically. Your continued use of the Service after the modifications constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
